Wiseman, do you know what programs will enable me to make back-up copies of my playstation games? I intend to make a library of my rarest imports (ie, Xenogears, Chrono cross, FFAnthology) on my PC, so that i can play them on emulators. Any suggestions?

Yea once you advance to the sixth level the story becomes more in depth.
I could put a spoiler but it would spoil too much.

Haha.
Well if you get a chance play through all ten level on your own, even if it is easy.
However I beat them on every difficulty.
When doing stunts (Warthog Launches, glitches, etc) I use normal or easy. When I want to practice a little it's usually legendary. Heroic is my least used difficulty.

IRT Cata: Making a backup of important games is definitely a good idea. I have 3 copies of Chrono Cross at home.
PSX games are copy-protected, so once you backup them, you'll only be able to play them in emulators, and if they're fairly well reproduced, you should be able to play them on modchipped consoles too. (Yet another reason for why modding your console is a good thing.)
You have three ways to do this:
■ You can use CD-ROM burning/mastering software to copy an CD into a CD-R. (Use DAO mode, RAW access, and subchannel reading when possible.) You get a CD-R with the game, to be used in emulators and probably modded consoles.
■ You can use CD-ROM tools/burning/mastering software to create an image of your CD-ROM (typically an ISO image). This is a copy of everything the disc has (use RAW access and subchannel reading when possible). You can keep this image in your hard disk and use emulators to play it. This is recommended as you don't have to put the CD in, it's the fastest loading in emulators, it's the least likely to slow the game down if it needs to load on the fly, and it doesn't stress your CD drive during your many dozen RPGing hours. It usually takes more than 700 MB per CD though.
■ You can image several games and burn all of them (the .ISO image files) in a DVD-R/+R. (This is what I do.) This is a good compromise solution as you have many games in a single DVD, it's faster loading than individual CDs, it's cheaper (1 DVD-R costs less than 6-7 CD-Rs), and you don't have to have them in your hard disk.
To do this, you can use most CD-ROM recording software like Alcohol 120%, CDRWIN (this one really sucks, but it's good for PSX games), etc., and you may want to try CDBurnerXP, which is freeware, if you don't have some of the others.
(Also, keep in mind that the best backup is the Net. If you have bought a PSX game, but the disc is scratched and it won't work, it shouldn't be a problem to download an ISO image somewhere and use it, as you have paid for the game.)

IRT Wiseman - Ok, i used CDRWIN to dump the raw CD data into a BIN file, and ive managed to get Xenogears working with *near* perfection on my PC. There are a few niggles, but with console emulation its very difficult to achieve utter perfection (especially with the specs of my PC).
When i get a DVD-RW, i will probably do what your doing with your backups, it seems efficient, but until then, these BIN files will do for now.
Thanks for the in depth explanation.

You're welcome. The recommended emulator is ePSXe; recommended plugins are Pete's pwnage GPUs (try both OpenGL and Direct3D, one of them is faster in every card, I think OpenGL is faster with ATI cards and Direct3D with nVidia cards), and the Eternal SPU for sound (if it's glitched/desynched, try messing with the options; if the game's running too slow, try the lite one or Pete's SPU).
